marble tiles for shower - asking for user experience please

renovating our ensuite and I really like some tiles that are natural marble (small white hexagon mosaic with black herringbone as per houzz inspiration pic below) - my hesitation is that you can't use descaler on marble (or can you?) and in a shower we are using everyday it will a) get scaled up and b) drive me crazy if I can't get them clean.
so...has anyone else used marble in a shower and would you choose it again or definitely not. Or can anyone recommend good quality porcelain copies ( have ordered a few samples that are low res printing and they just look obviously not natural marble)
