Hallway, Stairs and Landing advice please :)

We‘ve just moved into our forever home and will be taking our time decorating the property. i love the space in the hallway, stairs and landing, i would really like some statement lighting ideas and general colour decoration ideas. We like mid century modern/eclectic interiors usually. But all ideas welcome. We will be looking for real wood flooring, potentially parquet flooring, but again, any ideas welcome. I adore the doors and windows and would like to make a feature of these - all advice welcomed! many thanks :) storage heaters are being replaced and wont be on the staircase - also is it worth the hassle of stripping the stairs?
