Comments (8)Hello dsummerfield75, Euro Duo at Bath Store comes in 500 and 700... Take a look and they also sell a sleek contemporary style bottle trap so it can hang as is.. I have selected the no tap holes option, but of course you can choose tap hole if you prefer.. So the 500 would leave you with a little gap either side.. : )) http://www.bathstore.com/products/euro-duo-500mm-basin-no-tap-holes-1768.html?nst=0&_$ja=tsid:57096%7ccid:353007289%7cagid:20174476249%7ctid:pla-129189061009%7ccrid:72274087849%7cnw:g%7crnd:12293434589098274684%7cdvc:c%7cadp:1o2&gclid=CI6ii8f89ssCFUI_Gwod42kBBQ&gclsrc=aw.ds...See MoreBathroom sink under window
Comments (7)I think you need something like this >> https://www.wayfair.co.uk/Williston-Forge--Dempster-Accent-Mirror-V112098371-L41-K~U001987260.html?refid=GX486325739925-U001987260&device=c&ptid=903378841349&targetid=pla-903378841349&network=g&ireid=105367099&device=c&gclid=Cj0KCQiAjJOQBhCkARIsAEKMtO3GTO0WXvk0SGvhpPWqif_w1pPey6jH3PpQ8F_FHy5tJQ0fMQ-A5noaAkInEALw_wcB You fix it to the wall but it is flexible and you can turn it other ways so it doesn't stop your access to the window. If you are looking to upgrade this bathroom a bit, please contact me. I can provide orthographic drawings in AutoCAD to scale, along with a 3D model for you to imagine the design before investing in it. This way you will be able to make it feel slightly more modern and use the maximum of the given area, as currently I just think that it isn't using its full potential. Either way, good luck with your project! 😊...See MoreMake one bathroom smaller? Advice on bathrooms remodel
Comments (18)I've been thinking about options to cover all basis and came up with this. To allow guests to use a bath/shower the ensuite would be shared. I added a wall in the master bedroom to divide it and add privacy so guests don't have to walk into the bedroom to get to the bath/shower. The upsides are that the ensuite is larger, includes a bath and shower and has more vanity room. Also, by diving the bedroom I can add sort of a walk-in wardrobe. The downsides are that there's only one bath/shower that has to be shared and guests have to walk through the walk-in wardrobe to get to it. Also, it reduces the size of the master bedroom but it's quite a long room anyway and it would cut out the light from the windows in the bedroom. Personally I don't see these as big problems but I guess some people won't like it. Do you think this is a good idea?...See MoreWhere should I put a mirror in this bathroom?
Comments (13)I wondered where this post had disappeared to. I had a couple of thoughts, though partly covered above. I agree that circular mirror would avoid avoid accentuating the asymmetry of the wall. I would center the mirror above the washbasin with something else to the right, such as the two mirror photo that kikiamack posted. I definitely think a mirror is required, either for shaving or for make-up. I also wondered if you could get the vanity the other way round. I.e. with the narrower end by the bath. I can't totally visualize it, but just think it might look better that way. As for the original post, yes, there are one or two (or maybe a couple more) Pros on the US site, whose behavior is distinctly unprofessional. I think they see themselves as 'a bit if a character' and substitute ignorant rudeness for when they lack an answer to the question that is actually asked. I'm not a pro by any means, but I can see how the design might look unusual. However, I would start from the premise that the room is designed around an owner's specific requirements and not to please people who can only follow the current rules. Be grateful that you have your own site where you are free of their sneering!....See Moreangelar765
