Height of the cabinets

Hello
I would like to know , where is the hood for cooking range placed ? what is the height of the cabinets overall and at what height are the cabinets installed from the counter top

Hello, the hood is integrated into the wall cabinet above. The distance from worktop to the units is 70 cm and units are almost 75 cm tall.

70cm=@ 27.5 inches.

Hi Jasper, I think this looks like it'll work (and lovely sketch btw) - as you say, the key is going to get coordination between kitchen installer and main contractor. The former will need tolerance to get the units in, if the nib walls/boxing safe built first -so you'll probably end up with some scribe pieces (narrow colour matched timber pieces) either side, and a plinth at the bottom, and some kind of flat cornice at the top. If the boxings are built after the kitchen is installed, make sure the kitchen is well protected from scratches and plaster etc! Another - possibly easier - alternative is to use standard colour matched end panels for your tall units at either end, and then just do the 'boxing' at the top of the run of cabinets?

I think you've found a way to solve a problem many of us has. Certainly I have - a horrible gap that isn't big enough for another cupboard and is, in the meantime, a major dust-collecting spot. I think coving would make it look rather muddled; I like the sleek look you have already achieved. Filling the strange-shaped gaps will be tricky but a careful carpenter should be able to cut the plinth/cover to fit so it matches. I think it's great.

I'm sorry I haven't got any pictures at present as it's just in the planning stages. It's currently just a wall and an imagination haha. How much space will you have for yours? I'm looking at something like this for the inside set up so there's some worksurface strong enough for microwave/toasted etc and not just shelves.
