Need help with furniture placement in bedroom!
Comments (17)The ŵall looks great, I prefer it to your original choice! The chest of drawers look great pushed together. I wouldn't try going for a symmetrical layout. Hang the mirror where it is portrait with a lamp that's in between the sizes of the 2 shown (maybe a charcoal shade?) with a shorter vase of flowers etc on the rhs and some kind of decorative object in the middle ( a decorative horse's head might look good?!)...See MoreFurniture placement in tiny studio
Comments (8)Hi, Please see attached photo with a layout proposal (to scale). The furniture styles have been shown for reference only as we don't know your budget or style. It would be nice if you could incorporate a small seating area near the balcony, this can double as a spot for you to eat dinner/breakfast. If you place the wardrobe in this area it may cut out a lot of your natural light. We have proposed the wardrobe to the wall adjacent to the bathroom. If you can get hold of a mirrored front wardrobe that will really help bounce light around the room and make it feel bigger. Good luck in your new apartment! https://www.instagram.com/esd_home/...See Morehelp-furniture placement advice needed
Comments (9)Hi Lorraine. lovely big rooms I think an equal length corner unit should fit centrally under the double windows and in front of the hall door and an armchair or small love seat by the side window. The tv sited nearer to the side window rather than central perhaps. Lamps, maybe, could go on a sideboard or console across the back of the sofa in front of the entrance hall door as there won‘t be room for a side table by the pocket doors. The entrance door would work better hinged the other way and a floor switch if you go with this plan but it sounds like it might be too late to change light switches etc. Hope this helps, I have drawn a plan but I don’t seem to have much luck uploading at the weekend!!...See Morestruggling to visualise furniture placement in large open living area
Comments (2)Hi Sarah Mrahc, we would love to help you. We are an affordable online interior design company and can definitely help you create an open plan living space you'll love. We have written a blog about open plan spaces which you may find useful and I have linked below. With an open plan space is it important to zone the areas of the room with things such as rugs, paint, wallpaper and furniture etc whilst still keeping a cohesive look and flow throughout the room. Heres the link to our blog post which you may find helpful and our website: https://www.thelivinghouse.co.uk/blog-interior-design-tips/case-study-open-plan-kitchen/dining/living-room www.thelivinghouse.co.uk...See MoreAmy Lynn
