What kind of sink!!!
Comments (31)I don't envisage the taps being more than two tiles width at most above the sink so I'm hoping it'll be ok splash-wise. I'm having a glass panel fitted to the top of the console too. The wide sink idea is purely taste, I just don't think I like square or round but oval is still an option. I'm thinking mini-Butler style or trough. Hadn't really thought about water pressure. A few more pic ideas attached to peruse. I'm beginning to wish I just wanted a bland white suite now!!!...See MoreSmall bathroom facelift
Comments (36)Hi Senspasce and thank you my husband works for a large tile manufacturer and the tiles where purchased on slight seconds and a great tiler who works all over the world did the tiling beautifully. The design was copied from the company brochure so I knew it was foolproof design in its day which was over 20yrs ago so not done so bad really certainly had my moneys worth. The window is very heavily obsurced glass with leaded design so does not need blinds which cannot be fitted as casement to window is not deep enough I have had curtain treatment on expandable rod but like the light and openness. I prefer a bath we use to have shower on bracket with a shower curtain when I had new mixer and taps I did away with them to open the room up and getaway from water mold building up we use bath mat on floor when showering and not a problem with no screen a lot less cleaning too never a problem without them....See MoreFitting a shower into low ceiling bathroom
Comments (10)How annoying I wrote a long reply and it didn't post!! Thanks for the replies! Not sure raising the ceiling is an option as it would cost more than we'd gain I think. Interesting to see the different layout ideas. Yes moving the door would mean it would hit the bath. I don't think the hall space would be wide enough for a shower? What do you think? Good to see an idea of how we can reconfigure the toilet sink and bath layout though. I don't think moving the bathroom to the bedroom at the back would be ideal as we'd prefer these rooms to be kept away from the main road. Is it a bad idea to loose a fourth bedroom for a bigger ensuite and bathroom? Is there a way that the fourth bedroom can be reduced in size (but still useable) and making the bathroom (as a minimum) and ensuite bigger?...See MoreFit a separate shower and bath in small bathroom
Comments (12)Options then would be:- putting them on the shorter wall opposite the sink: 800 wide shower (or 700) but 1m length coming out into the room as the entry door is offset. That gives a good sized shower. Then you have 1m tub space to play with for a deep tub. Then I would put the WC and sink on the other short wall so entry into the tub isn’t hindered. 1200 or 1300 tub on the 2m back wall with an 800 or 700 wide corner shower. Actually you could potentially have it so the wc is far left back wall with 1500 bath opposite the door and then a corner shower far right side. It’s all a bit cramped though with a standard or even small sized tub so do consider a shower over bath. You can get short rise baths if it’s an issue with getting in/out that’s the issue. Also shower baths with 800 shower area if it’s shower experience...See MoreWumi
