What colour walls and cabinets with these tiles?
Comments (14)hi all, sorry i've been offline for a while. well the cabinets are (mostly!) in. the tiles have arrived. They're from here http://best-tile.co.uk/ I LOVE them! I've been planning moroccan tiles in my home since i first went there about 10 years ago! just a few more bits to finish off before finally deciding a colour scheme. I'll try to add a photo later, i'm a bit busy finishing off my dissertation this month so the kitchen is taking a back seat. Cinderellaslipper i like what youa re saying - it makes sense. i'm not sure if i should take the tiles to be colour matched or try matching to the samples in the shop. the budget is non-existant so i don't want to end up spending loads on sample pots....See MoreAdvise on kitchen splashback / tiles please
Comments (28)Pity you have decided against glass in favour of tiles. We have just done our kitchen and I wanted an easy-to-clean surface for the splash back, so the rough surface of grouting around tiles, and also the indentations on some patterned tiles (which collect grease and grime) ruled them out for me! I went for glass, which the manufacturers matched exactly to the duck egg paint colour on the other walls (just gave them a product code of the paint), and although the initial outlay for the glass was expensive, the surface is so brilliant to keep clean and it looks fab as well. I would definitely recommend, and you could match it to, say, your lovely pink/purple ceiling lights ......See MoreHELP!!! Kitchen extension - what colour floor tiles??
Comments (25)Hi Jemma, I agree with option 1 from your choices, would definitely work:-) but just to throw a cat in amongst the pigeons... Have you considered rubber flooring at all? Some excellent options available now, clean lines, you can choose to have it look like what it is, or mimic tiles or timber. Gives the best of both worlds as looks good & much softer under foot - just a thought :-)...See MoreKitchen colours that goes with light grey floor
Comments (11)Looks as though someone muddled the colour code numbers in ordering. Did you order them yourselves? If so check codes on order with the packs if you still have them. If the fitter ordered see if you can check their order. If you're sure it's someone else's error I'd kick up a hell of a stink, in a reasonably nice but very firm way, and insist they take up and relay despite all the hassle. Alternatively find an alternative colour scheme you like, as you're trying to do, and ask for a part refund for error and nuisance etc....See MoreJonathan
