Charleston Grey Kitchen

Hi looking for advice I am thinking of using F&B skimming stone on the main run of kitchen units with Charleston grey F&B on the island and also tall larder units which are in the sitting room but part of the open plan kitchen. Also looking at a light oak floor. I’m after a timeless neutral effect but not cold like a more blue tone grey can create. Have attached a mood board. Please give opinion and advice as I know paint colours can look very different

It sounds really nice. Skimming Stone doesn't look blue, even in dim lights. For the cost of a 2.5L tin of paint I would order the Charleston Grey and paint it onto about 6 large sheets of card or even a wall. You will then see how it looks as a block and especially up high in a room. These colours also look really good with burnt orange, copper, smoked glass etc.

Thank you minnie101 - I have a 1990's Charles Church house - it's one of those really difficult houses to get right, without literally starting again! I'm just going to work through room by room and hope it works - very daunting as I don't have a clue about interior design! You're going to see a lot of "help me" posts on here lol!

Black or grey bi folds with grey kitchen

I would put black in. Goes with everything. I just put black in my kitchen and I love them. They will go well with your colour scheme. personally having different colour windows upstairs and downstairs would irritate me (so much that I changed all my upstairs windows to black to match).

Anybody have DIY kitchens Luca in Matt grey, how is it for cleaning?

It won’t matter where the kitchen is purchased from because they are all using the same manufacturers board. Matt doesn’t show the marks until they show in a certain light. I have found 2 different ways to clean mine - 1. Almost neat fairy liquid, wipe with a damp cloth and buff up with a microfibre duster. 2. Use Pink stuff spray (not paste) and again wipe off and buff up. Both have worked well for me.
