This is a new garden from scratch which I am planning to do . I am having my patio in front of my two patio doors and then same slabs going all around the house. I am thinking of making bedding which is shown in dark brown colour but don't know what type of plants shell I plant. I have a very tall hedge on the end of garden and I need to know what type of plants can go there, As this place hardly get any sun. Please Help as starting the project from next week :)

I grow mine in pots, they like to be constrained and thrive when they struggle for space in pots. They multiply over the years and get better and better. The first year I only had one flower out of three pots! But as time has gone by they've slowly got more and more. I have two new pots of them though, just planted this year, which haven't flowered at all this year though. When they do finally get too pot bound they're easy to divide.........and you get more pots worth! They're stunning and make a real statement at this time of year.

Yes a Hebe, but not sure which one. As Sarah says there are so many! They usually have lovely purple or white flowers In the summer.
