Tom Howley colour match

Hi

We are trying to find a match for ”Willow” in the Tom Howley range, would anyone have any idea of the colour mix or a similar colour etc?

We did ask in a Tom Howley showroom but they were unwilling/unable to help!

Take a paint sample into your local trade paint centre ask them to mix it be much cheaper & better paint too

We dont have a sample and Tom Howley do not provide them, all we have are brochure pictures which wouldnt give an accurate match

Well you have a fabulous range of colours then, but obviously what you choose depends on personal taste. Off white and grey are always a good neutral choice. Whether it will date no one knows......but if you choose classic shades then they don’t date as quickly. I’ve always rather like Pavilion Grey though.....

This look would be rather timeless and easy to re-use when wanting to change styles and colour schemes. Keeping a rather neutral palette, which is what you've gone for is a good idea for the kitchen as to not age so quickly. With the use of colourful accessories and well chosen lighting I think this space could look fab. If you hadn't already chosen your units and had them fitted, I'd have recommended a slightly darker shade to provide some contrast, and a slightly lighter island colour. However, I wouldn't recommend darker walls, purely as your space although being a good size and having some natural light. It's not flooded with it, so wouldn't want to makes the space darker than necessary. Hope this helps! Let me know. :) - Kerry @KerryBryanInteriors

Hi all, thanks sooo much for all your help! We actually have nothing at all right now, we’re doing a renovation and trying to decide what to go for. We literally have to buy everything all new so starting from scratch and it’s so overwhelming. We are thinking white/off white walls and then light to mid grey kitchen cabinets. Either all the same colour or darker island like the picture. Floor will be sandstone/limestone tumbled I think...

A room that size has great potential, but it is too big to operate in effectively, it needs to be broken up into defined functional areas. Simply turning the island unit 90 degrees would mean that one side is the dining area the other the working area, you could then focus on how the kitchen can be made to work effectively, regularly used items need to be to hand, while the dining side can be more relaxed and accommodate units for longer term storage. I cannot say which end should be kitchen or dining area because I don't know where your windows and potential views are, so you need to choose, but a professional kitchen design would easily organise it. Remember, when a designer offers you a potential solution it should surprise you and make your spirits lift.

I use Johnstones to colour match my paint plus l prefer their paint. You can buy sample tins and the staff l have dealt with at my local branch very good. Perhaps take the brochure, see what they recommend and have a couple of sample tins?
