what’s causing these holes?

Since last summer I’ve noticed my cherry Laurel hedge get loads of holes, does anyone know the cause and hope to stop it?

Mine has them too, nothing serious just a very mild fungas doesn't need treatment

Shot hole is a disease affecting cherry laurels that is both bacterial and fungal in nature. This infection is created by the bacterium Xanthomonas prunii and the fungus Blumeriella gaapi or Cercospora sp. This infectious disease causes symptoms that begin as red or purple spots on the surface of leaves; the spots dry out and the tissue disintegrates, leaving holes that appear to have been created by a shotgun. As more holes develop, their borders meet, and more expansive holes form until leaves completely drop and the laurel is severely ill. Overhead watering may promote greater vulnerability to infection. For control, remove and destroy infected plant parts that have fallen from the plant. Also, apply a fungicide with the active ingredient mancozeb as soon as symptoms appear, as recommended by the Cobb County Extension Service.

It may well be condensation, so possibly worth getting a dehumidifier. Misted up glazing units could be the unit has blown, but they can be replaced without the whole window being replaced.

Also the bath filler is very high up but we have a fixed screen to the side and it sits right over the bath waste so doesn't cause an issue as far as we can tell. Wow, that’s a fantastic apartment! It looks like your obscured windows were part of the original design... and the neighbouring flat is the same? So, what’s going on here? It could be heat, it could be an ingress of water into these areas? Either way it’s likely to be localised. One last question: is your apartment leasehold? If so, I’d get in touch with your management agents to find out what your options are.

Wow 6sqm. That's pretty big, I know it feels bad to waste it but I can't see a good solution. Lower seating area would be nice but how would it drain when it rains. Fire bit would be way too big. I think if you can get drainage a lower seating area would be cool with a little flued fire
