They were from walls and floors.. they are moroccan and quite a few tile places do them.. hope that helps. Thanks Rose

Thanks ive seen a few but only in light 'wishy washy' colours! I liked the dark green of your project. Ill keep looking!

hi all, sorry i've been offline for a while. well the cabinets are (mostly!) in. the tiles have arrived. They're from here http://best-tile.co.uk/ I LOVE them! I've been planning moroccan tiles in my home since i first went there about 10 years ago! just a few more bits to finish off before finally deciding a colour scheme. I'll try to add a photo later, i'm a bit busy finishing off my dissertation this month so the kitchen is taking a back seat. Cinderellaslipper i like what youa re saying - it makes sense. i'm not sure if i should take the tiles to be colour matched or try matching to the samples in the shop. the budget is non-existant so i don't want to end up spending loads on sample pots.

These are the tile samples I have so far. On the left - small top dark grey, under that is a tile with faux stepped marble effect tiles that are more slate toned. Large tile to the right is the mandarin stone one (v expensive, lol) The walnut in the middle I love the pattern but it’s not as rich a colour as I wanted and I can’t find anything else online in an American walnut style tile. The bottom tile is a v v pale grey with similar pattern to the mandarin stone one. How would you work these tiles together? Walnut floor and sink unit and dark grey all over the walls? Just the patterned grey on the back of the shower wall and sink area and plain grey on other walls?? :0/

Your new bathroom is going to look great! We love your tile selection. If you are going to tile the wall in the darker tile, then we suggest to tile the floor in the lighter grey-but same tile style. Just to give it some contrast. And since we have noticed you have blonde hair, lighter colour on the floor will be much more grateful, otherwise, every single hair will show ;) And also, have you considered half way wall tiling and then paint in a cream colour? That would look very elegant and would feel a bit more cosy, instead of going all grey. Good luck!

i think it is verde green.. they look darker in the picture.. if you wanted darker green i would go the artisan style ones - so they are slightly different colours and do them vertical like a kit kat pattern.. more on trend.. the above ones were done a few years ago and i personally wouldnt repeat it.. just a thought!
