Has anyone got Yukon Silestone worktops?
Comments (5)Hi, We supply both Silestone & Caesarstone products. Unfortunately i don't have a picture of a kitchen with the Silestone Yukon but Silestone do have an online visualiser which can be very helpful. http://hdviewer.cosentino.com/yukon/kitchen2 Marble-like surfaces are currently very popular at the moment and many of our quartz brands have colours to suit. I would also suggest you take a look at Quartzforms, Samsung Radianz and also Technistone. We have a huge range of samples to view in our showroom, for more info here's our website www.impalastone.com Hope that helps! Comments (14)agree with comment above - call Cosentino and they can direct you either to a local kitchen showroom with worktop installed in a colour you are considering or they can tell you where you can view the slabs. i live in Ireland and visited the Cosentino warehouse in Dublin to view slabs - it certainly affected our decision making. we went for lagoon and its great - no problem with staining...See MoreWorktop for glossy white kitchen
Comments (7)For quartz cheaper than Silestone & Caesarstone, you have to be careful that you are getting good quality. Some alternatives aren't good. And by good quality, I mean good quality quartz, good quality machining, templating, flexibility at installation (e.g. some machining on site can be helpful to ensure tidy up stands, edges) etc. I went through finding an alternative earlier this year. My research led me to two companies. One was Rock & Co which offers a product called Urban Quartz in a large range of colours. They have a showroom in Hertfordshire, near St Albans. There was also another company called Cambridge Worktops which is linked to Stoneworld in Kendal, which offered a quartz product called Cliveden Quartz. . There were minor differences between what they were offering in terms of the quartz products and their processing, and logistics -- and each company wanted me to believe that their approach was great and the other's approach was inappropriate. But after a lot of questioning I had the feeling that I was willing to deal with either company. And in both cases their prices involved a significant saving. In the end I contracted with Rock & Co because they had the shade of off white that I liked best. They exceeded my expectations in some respects; met expectations in many respects, and fell short just in some. So I can't say the process was issue free, but I can same that I am overall happy, and that our quartz countertop is now installed and it looks amazing....See Morewhat colour quartz or silestone worktop would you recommend?
Comments (6)I agree - if your considering various greys, the Arenastone Engineered Quartz is defiantly worth checking out too. They have lots to choose from including the new Concreto range which comes in a matte finish. The colours in the picture attached are Grigio Serena (far left, available in a polished finish), Grigio Concreto (middle) and Scuro Concreto (far right)....See More- 8 months ago
