I'd go for raspberry & pink, not as harsh as red, but definitely warming. I'd be very tempted if you go for the darker curtains, to go for the same colour rug, just for a bit of unity. However, if you then put a wooden coffee table on the rug, the wood will warm it up. All the pinks above will go with any grey, Different texture cushions in paler colours will help soften the look. This rug and coffee table go well with the whole theme, softens it down, and although grey tones, when mixed in with the soft accessories, cushions, vases, curtain ties etc will look really cosy. Ah, the larger rug is much better. I'd pull it towards the TV wall a little more. I actually preferred the white box as a coffee table, because you need somewhere to put your drinks and if you put a coffee table in, there's probably too much furniture there. Although I'd prefer a less boxy shaped coffee table, but there we are :-) I'd add some warmer colours and some natural materials to create a warmer look. And lighting, but you're probably getting a wall light? I'd add a light to the sideboard in front of the window, to bring a bit of light into that corner. Look for art instead of a mirror. Seriously, it'll add more personality to your room than a mirror does. Or art and a mirror.

Hi! To make things more homely I'd definitely bring some plants in. IKEA do some really great ones that help brighten up the room and make it feel lived in (I've included a pic of one of mine below). IKEA do also do some great decorative accessories like huge candles which would look great on the top of your coffee table. H&M Home also have some nice bits you could decorate the table with - like little pots for example. Definitely pop some scented candles on there too! Cushions-wise, your grey sofa means you can chop and change all the time! It’s easy to do it yourself. Measure up the size (length, width and depth). If you look online there are companies that will cut to size. Just decide on the density eg soft, firm, very firm. Order it and place it inside your cover. If you don’t want to do it look online for a local upholsterer. This is something they do.
