What colour render should I use?

Hello. We are looking to render our house. We would like ideas on what colour render to use? The property has a red coloured roof, black windows and doors. We feel a warm colour would be nice? Any product/colour recommendations would be much appreciated.
I can't seem to add a picture of the house!

You need something to work with the existing brickwork. Have you thought of cladding instead? Black horizontal Japanese style cladding (shou sugi ban) would look great with your window frames and doors. There are quite a few UK companies that supply it. It's charred larch I think. Black would tie it all together.

your lovely kitchen seems to recede into the walls as in my opinion there is not enough contrast and wevet may have the same issue.....so personally I would choose a stronger colour....don't forget you won't see much as most of the wall is covered with cabinets. Also with a window and French doors and a pale reflective floor it will be reasonably light. Choose a colour that you like that is used elsewhere in the house that you like and it will lend continuity. how about Farrow and Balls India Yellow?

£800,000 in debt after making sure they had taken all the money they could no doubt. The Dyes could easily solve your letterbox and sealed unit issue if they were interested in doing the right thing, as they only place these orders with another company in Lithuania, who are still the same supplier for Hatches. Fyntons/Hatches are basically selling on the contract for significant profit...if they ordered those parts again for you it would cost them next to nothing. Being a Covid issue is absolute nonsense...every other business involved in building and renovation is booming since Covid. And how strange to set up an identical business right in the middle of lockdown! Saw an opportunity to run with the money and start again.

Hi Lorna, Ok so there's a couple of things to consider so firstly you have an upstand already and tiles and upstand's are not normally mixed together. I totally understand your dilemma though and I would recommend a couple of things. 1) It might be a better idea to paint the walls in specialised kitchen/bathroom paint which can be wipeable and does not leave any marks on the wall. Trust me this is what I have done in my own kitchen and it works a treat. I highly recommend Farrow & Ball Modern Emulsion: https://www.farrow-ball.com/our-finishes/modern-emulsion Secondly you may want to consider painting the units a contrasting colour and give it a modern look if you are considering painting the walls. 2) If you really are dead set about having tiles you might want to consider going for a simple cream tile and in keeping with the current colours if you are not painting the units. I think black cladding would be too much with the black window and door. You could consider western red cedar or siberian larch, but bright white render would work.

Do you mean rendering the whole house or just the breeze block bit? The red brick is lovely so I wouldn’t render that, it would then be more maintenance. If it’s the breeze block area then a simple very pale cream would sit nicely with the red brick and roof. These sort of colours but in a render.
