Conservatory/kitchen flooring help-need to decide within 48 hours!
Comments (16)I am a huge fan of parquet, it lasts forever and is easily refreshed with a quick sand and varnish. Its always at room temperature so no frozen or scorched feet and it looks brilliant. I had merbau parquet in my last kitchen (white high gloss) and it looked amazing as it matched the Iroko worktops. I have just had oak parquet fitted to our boot-room too. Looks amazing and much nicer than the cold hard tiles we inherited in there. Super easy to clean to, quick hoover over and the odd very light mop....See MoreNeed help deciding what color backsplash
Comments (1)I think you should use white so the kitchen doesn't look choppy ,but if you still want color try this idea...See MoreNeed help deciding on table color for kitchen.

Comments (6)Thank you very much Rebecca, Jonathan, AS and Bath Bespoke for your comments, v kind of you. I have attached a picture with the window design I am now actively considering for the non bay windows. I thought this may be a good option since it will maximise the views from the inside. I don't know what the name of this type of window is but it is a solid pane with two fanlights above. Do you think this could be a solution? I am hoping it will blend in with the bays? As for the rendering, I am still undecided whether this will look ok with this style of chalet bungalow, at times I think the brickwork looks good and other times I wonder if it is dated! I think I may have to play it safe with white windows........See MoreBernice Burnside
