You do lovely work. I was wondering is this mirror for sale? If so, could you tell me about the price and material? Thank you!

Thank you, however the more info for this particular mirror doesn't list the price or material from what I could gather, hence my question. :)

You need to add some personality in this room. First the flooring; you don't want to visually fight with the geometric wall tiles so try this attractive and practical flooring from Karndean http://houzz.com/photos/16332081. It's interesting without having a strong pattern. Decor; I would be inclined to use some pops of colour with a warm neutral background. The pops can be in the form of pictures or you could use wallpaper. Window; You will need to dress the window so you could add the colour here, with a roller blind or roman blind for instance. Mirror; go for the largest your room will take. If you want to go whacky, then let the mirror frame do it for you. Glitzy, glam or just plain colourful!

Hi, there's a common mistake about people asking if you like this colour or not, this decor object or another, or what's the best colour for my space. It all depends on what you want to achieve. In this case, according to the style and furniture selection, this pastel pink is such a nice touch. It's not about the colour, it's about pastel. If the owner would have chosen a blue or green pastel the result would be the same. At this point, with the style and features chosen, it's just a matter of personal taste to choose between certain pastel colours. Even though I don't like this style or soft pink, I must say it's a very good job as the space harmonious, soft and warm, with a good style balance (not too classic nor modern). Hello headers13, Looking nice! Not much of a mess at all! Normally I'd suggest the idea of dark chimney breast and lighter walls.. Since you have dark cabinets going in then perhaps consider the other way around.. Usually alcoves are better lighter as they then look further away.. Chimney breast to the fore.. Standing out with a beautiful mirror.... I normally don't recommend shelving in alcoves either.. Just a personal taste.. However.... What about approaching it with the idea of scale colouring.. with dark at bottom and working it's way lighter up the shelves.... So you could have dark chimney breast and dark bottom shelves and gradually take the shades up till you get to a creamy white at the top... Ceilings are really gr8 in Whitening by Little Greene.. It would give it a different feel and this style of painting is really in.... You can do it with walls too, see image... Also to lighten the look of the shelving... consider darker and fuller shelves at the bottom and lighten towards the top... This creates the idea of openness with the shelving, thus giving the fireplace the focal point it deserves... : ))

I think it's better suited to the top one. It's beautiful. I would paint it to make more of a feature and I would paint the central panels either side of the mirror the same as the main walls and the rest (including the mantelpiece) in a darker colour. Hope this helps.
