Kitchen lighting - please help!

We are using two pendant lights (attached) over our bar area and would like some advice on what to put over the farmhouse table - which will be right next to the bar. Since the lighting will be close, I'd like them to complement each other. Please note that the light over the farmhouse table will be attached to a sloped ceiling and need to have a 4' + wire.

10 years agothe table hasn't been built yet, but it will be rectangular. See attached for our inspiration.

Comments (20)Hi Charlie, The Orluna LEDs vary in cost depending upon the style and the dimming method used. The Curve fitting starts with a retail price of £55.14 +VAT with a non-dimming driver. The fitting with a mains dimming driver retails for£65.14+VAT. Depending upon the lighting layout, you will normally need less Orluna fittings than other brands as the beam angles go up to 60 degrees so there is a greater spread of light around the room. Comments (5)As mentioned by the others, having tiles and upstands together would look rather bizarre. I’d suggest removing the upstands and adding white or dark grey tiles. You could also add white tiles with dark grey designs to maintain the colour scheme that you’ve got going. Tiles would also be much easier to clean, and if you choose dark grey tiles, any stains wouldn’t be visible at all. I recently got my entire kitchen redesigned with the help of these kitchen fitters called Saturn Interiors. They took care of all the minor and major details, so I didn’t have to worry about any of it. If you want to, you could consult with them about this issue.
