what is the depth of breakfast bar, depth of counter top and height of bar? I am curious to know what is holding up this granite countertop and the space between each bracket. Looks like desert sand granite?? nice job!

Only because it looks like you have gone to a fair amount of work in reducing the height of the wall and replastering etc. where any half decent kitchen designer would have seen the issue quickly on the survey and come up with this solution. It would normally sit on large brackets fabricated to take the weight and I believe the granite is honed underneath to take the depth of the bracket so that they are flush with the underneath . I think maybe if we saw the design then it would be easier to suggest something. These guys ship to the UK Original Granite Bracket

I think you could transition to white and have achieve a white with grey/black accents in the bench and fittings. If you need color, then splashes in bright fruit bowl, kettle, utensils - could be multicolored but might be better to stay consistent with one. The empty wall space could be home to a simple black frame with a print in the same colorway you use in the accessories. The breakfast bar does not really seem to have a purpose. You might be better served by removing. I take it that the big items (washer? fridge? freezer?) are on the wall opposite? Enclosing them in a similar bench might keep that area tidy. I know you aren't thinking about a kitchen redo, but it appears that the wall opposite the sink might be better as the oven, fridge, washer in a full wall unit, or partial wall but full height, thereby freeing up the light from the window to the rest of the room. The current lay out strikes me as enclosing the room rather than building on the window. More bench space could be located from the sink to the wall end.

You're really looking at either a hi end kitchen company who supply a more traditional style kitchen ie inframe, or as @Daisy England says, go to an independent, but as you're planning on having this sitting on your worktop, depending on the design of the rest of the kitchen ie if you have towers, the counter level bi fold doors would be to a special size (as most tall doors are designed for tower use). The easiest way to do this would be to have an extra wide larder (800 or 900), fit an internal drawer unit at the bottom, then a piece of worktop, have power points inside and 2 or 3 shelves above. Depending on where the doors come from it may 2x 1965 doors or 2x 1245 doors at the top and 2x 715 doors at the bottom, all standard stuff. Bearing in mind the appliances your trying to hide would be too big to fit inside a 'standard' 300 deep dresser type unit, the counter top option might not be the most suitable. But for a budget of 20K, i could design and supply a larger than average kitchen that has some bespoke made to measure doors and specially designed rigid cabinets and all to a high spec.
