Is the fence wood stained?

I really like this look. The fence looks like it's washed in gray. Was it stained? How did you get this look?

The fence is raw cedar left to weather. Cedar naturally goes a silvery colour in the sun in about a year.

I like the grey/black of the bit of trellis opposite for the fence, and then a nice sage green for the shed? There is a fantastic range of colours by Cuprinol Garden Shades and its really nice paint. I think you can go a bit OTT with the shed, such as pink maybe, but stick to classic greens, blues and neutrals if that’s too much! Here’s the colour chart, but they have a good website that allows you to see all the colours on a shed or fence etc.

Wooden bathroom vanities - any advice or pros/cons water stains/marks?

Hi I really want a wooden bathroom vanity with two vessel sinks, like the ones here https://www.tikamoon.co.uk/cat-bathroom-washbasin-unit-329.htm But I'm worried about water and product stains; finger marks with cosmetic oils on them etc etc. Does anybody who has them have any anecdotal stories about them? Do they wear well? Or is it a bad idea in practice? I mean, they're available so people must buy them, but I can't find any stories from people who have them, saying if they love or regret. I know that I open drawers when I've got facecream on my fingers and worry that this will stain the wood. ?? What do you think? Thanks!

Given their condition, neither would be a good option. You would have to replace the damaged boards and those riddled with woodworm unless they've been treated.
