Bowling Alley Table?

Love the table. Where does a person find salvage bowling alley floors and who made it? Looking for a table just like this. Thanks!

Thanks for the question. The Owners found the bowling lane at the pop-up Randolph Street Vintage Market in the West Loop neighborhood of Chicago. They were told it was from a bowling alley in Springfield IL. It was refinished refinished and turned into a table by Sharchitecture, the same fabricator of all the cabinetry in the unit. Time to search the salvage markets in your area, and good luck.

Hi Christian, Firstly, what a fantastic space you have created, with lots of light from the large windows and a fabulous kitchen/relaxing area, I love your sofa. I note that Beano kindly recommended Go Modern and we would love to help you choose some furniture for your amazing space. I see that you are thinking of a glass table, but larger than the one you already have and some chairs to go with it, as well as a rug, a couple of armchairs and a coffee table. I think the glass dining table that you are looking at is really nice and a good size for the space, but I wondered if you had considered a ceramic table top as this might also work for you. Ceramic is a new finish in a variety of colours which is smooth to the touch and looks and feels just like marble, but is incredibly hard-wearing and perfect for families or entertaining. The Art Dining Table from Bonaldo, designed by the famous Gino Carollo is a great example as it can also be enhanced by matching inserts in the legs. Regarding dining chairs we offer a huge range . But if you’re looking for some really colourful dining chairs – how about these ? The Bonaldo Bernedetta designed by Dondoli e Pocci We also have a great selection of rugs from top names like Missoni Home and Nani Marquina Armchair wise you might want to try something completely different like the Sacco from Zanotta – they are incredibly comfortable ! Well we’ve had a shift around this morning and completely swopped the dining table and sofa - Minnie101 thank you, my husband loved that idea. So the table and chairs are in the sitting room within the bay window, and the sofa is in the kitchen, overlooking the garden. Here’s some pics. It really works well and I know we will now be using that table more as we love to watch tv whilst eating! I’m not sure the traditional Parker Knoll sofa quite goes, but it’s sooo comfy so it will have to do. The cushions are temporary, as I may get some navy’ish ones instead, but if anyone has seen some nice cushions let me know! As always this Houzz community has been amazingly helpful, and it’s great to get different perspectives. Thank you all very much.
