Kitchen cabinet colour idea
Comments (4)I agree crisp white and a change of handles would look great. Also a industrial grey would look amazing, especically with the exposed hardware. Obviously this all depends on the rest of your kitchen but you could be more extreme and apply something cheap like chipboard to the back and apply some fun wallpaper to make more of a feature of all the items that you will have on display....See MoreNeed ideas on colour scheme for kitchen
Comments (23)The greys in the photo above do have a hint of blue in them so they won't clash with the worktop. If you want to be safe use the light grey with new handles, but if you want to be adventurous then paint the lower cabinets in the dark grey with new handles and paint the walls, shelves and tiles in the light grey to get the two tone look. The floor looks to be a laminate floor if you had the budget I would change it to a white tile effect lino to add some balance. I would also suggest binning the window dressings if the owner leaves them as the nets block out a lot of natural light....See MorePlease help to add colour and personality to my family kitchen!
Comments (21)Hi Yolanda - I'd change the stools, table and chairs, and swap the pendants for something in coloured glass or (personally) metallic, and change the cabinet handles from steel to brass/gold. Instant lift. Splashback-wise, try distressed mirror (suitably tempered and toughened) as it has loads of personality, bounces light around and is easy to clean. Then play with wall colour. Warm accents will stop the wood door from jarring so much (or paint it, if you can convince your husband). You have a lovely kitchen - will take very little to get it where you want!...See MoreTiles to add colour to my kitchen / living room
Comments (6)I'd probably remove the metal splashback behind the hob, as I think it'd look more streamlined. However I've noticed that it comes down further than the very small upstand that's currently there, so if that will annoy you then perhaps just leave it! You could go for a fairly standard subway tile like the below: Or something a bit different like these: Hope that helps, all the best!...See MoreNone None
