What kind of lighting did you use on the stone, and was it instaled before or after. It looks beautiful!

Sorry for the delay on getting to this question.

This is the Unique Vangard 8 fixture and I just laid these out after we had built the drystacked ledgestone retaining wall. I was able to get a reasonable spacing and elevation to work that created this result.

This all low voltage landscape lighting.

I need to buy the lights for a large flat rooflight 4m wide. I was thinking of an LED strip, but happy to consider other options. What do I need to consider? Do the lights get fitted in a lip nearer the actual ceiling, or higher up towards the glass? what do I need to consider? Someone mentioned you need to find room for a transformer or something? If this is the case where do they normally go when lighting something like this, and do they need to be accessible to change at some point? Any and all advice would be gratefully received, and any pictures or assistance of what to purchase in the way of lip, lights etc.. Thank you so much (I know nothing about lights) I am having an electrician fit them, but i'm responsible for purchasing the fittings and fixtures.

Hi Brittany! So glad you're asking about this! Lighting is something so underestimated in interior design, and in particular bathrooms. I'm a bathroom designer for Bathroom Eleven so perhaps I can offer some tips! Firstly, my design colleague Johanna wrote a great blog on this on our website - https://bathroomeleven.co.uk/bathroom-lighting-how-to-get-it-right/ - so give that a little peek! Secondly, as a general rule, I always factor in two things for Bathroom Lighting - Task and Mood lighting. Ceiling LEDs give a great, bright, broad lighting cover for your bathroom meaning its perfect for practical day to day uses. However, at the end of the day, when you're wanting to relax - or for those midnight trips to the loo! - it's really nice to factor in some softer lighting. Under vanity unit LED's, soft wall lights, plinth lights, illuminating recess, or mirrors - all these things offer you that secondary lighting option that can really lift your bathroom! Hi Laurence, have you considered using recessed lighting uplights to shine up the wall. The reflected light will illuminate the whole room. I would suggest using high power LED Strip like our Samsung Strip, it is 1000 Lumens per Metre and draws just 8.2w of power. If you need it even brighter we have the 2000/m Lumen version. The effect uplighting will create will be less industrial looking than Corn Lamps. Shall I use Dulux space and light enhancing for light or dark colours

Dulux light and space paint are coloured already with special light reflecting articles. The paints are all light colours.
