Bathroom Wall Tiles - what colour paint and floor tiles?

Comments (3)I am sure there is not much need for this advice.....it is also important the 'base' where the tiles are going to be fitted is adequate for those tiles, so don't use simple plaster boards please but hardiebaker cement boards, they are stronger boards and should be fine for the tiles you have in mind. there are also thinner wall tiles like those......but still very large format ( they are only 6mm in thickness)...See MoreWhich wall tiles to go with these floor tiles for en-suite shower room
Comments (10)Hi Vicki, I would go for bigger tiles, ones that are 60 cm x 30 cm. If you use smaller tiles the outcome may look too busy with your chosen floor tiles. I also suggest choosing very light grey wall tiles, the colour of which matches to the grey background colour of the floor tiles. That would give you the industrial sort of vibe you are aiming to achive. Order different samples and see how the combinations look in your bathroom. The colours can change dramatically depending on the lighting. Kati...See Moretrying to find patterned floor/wall tiles to match grey walls. B&W ok?
