A Stunning Kitchen in a Georgian Townhouse
Our clients bought this beautiful Georgian town house, sited in the middle of one of the City of Bath’s most prestigious crescents. The whole crescent was formerly owned by Bath University and these beautiful houses were split into flats for student accommodation. Within the confines of extremely strict planning legislation, we were commissioned to design and create a kitchen suitable for 21st century living.
The design incorporates cabinets, hand-painted in Farrow & Ball Oxford Stone 264, and features both convex and concave cupboards on the island to soften the visual outline of the space, whilst offering plenty of storage. The handsome Wolf range is enhanced with a pro-wall hood, creating a strong focal point. The stainless steel appliances and feet on the corner posts are complemented by the beautiful granite work surfaces.
The kitchen design has created a space for entertaining and relaxing; a visually pleasing working environment, where cooking and creating food for family and friends is a joy and pleasure.
