Timeless Shaker meets Contemporary American black Walnut, featuring heavily figured panels. The shaker element is hand-painted in a rich Farrow and Ball "Pelt" eggshell paint. Stainless steel plinths add the final touch. The honed marble worktops beautifully compliment this stunning kitchen. Mr and Mrs. M took Stephen’s advice and added a painting above the Rayburn, instead of the usual tiled splash back; so much nicer and what a statement!

The brief:

Mrs M wanted a traditional painted kitchen; Mr M wanted a very contemporary kitchen that had the richness of solid wood. Stephen’s proposal was a mix of both styles. Does it work? Well, we have two very satisfied clients – Job done!
