This family, with the birth of their second child, had a requirement for one of the parents to work from within their living / play space. The space had previously been cluttered and a combination of freestanding shelves and a wall mounted small desk. The requirement was to make a feature like built in work station come book case that would add a nice feel to the room, while offering a large open workspace that would feel like a piece of furniture rather than an office.
