Optimised compact bathroom - North London

This bathroom was a bit of a conundrum. With an angled door as you enter the space that originally dominated the left hand corner as you entered, as well as a small space, this young family wanted a walk-in style shower for the parents who are shower people, but needed a bath for their young children. I set about designing some clever features to be able to accommodate these needs by way of
- A fold back shower screen with the walk-in wet room style shower at right angles to the bath. The shower screen can fold flush with the tiled wall for bath time with the children so as not to be a hazard.
- Highly textured wet room tiles to provide a non-slip surface for young children running about the space
- A bi-fold door to the bathroom itself, freed up the ability to move the sink further into the corner as you immediately enter the bathroom, enabling the space for the walk-in shower and toilet
- A floating sink provides an illusion of space due to freeing up more floor space as well as providing much needed storage
- Additional storage was designed into the corner as you enter the bathroom, from floor to ceiling to provide this young family with adequate space to keep toys and wash products
