Drama and excitement were created with the angled roof and triangulated roof lights. With the customer being a chef, they wanted a kitchen that was first and foremost functional as well as aesthetic. The primary requirements were for increased living space, storage and light, all of which have been achieved with the final result. The space feels much larger than had been anticipated, and there is masses of light let in by the design of the roof.
