Parts of this grade II listed property are old (550 years +) it had over the years been extended - the last extension in the 1970s.
It was previously run as a guest house with many features catering to this (carpeted floors, fire doors compartmented rooms). The brief was to convert it back into a family home, whilst preserving the original features, integrating the newer extensions in ways more sympathetic to the original house and expressing the brand new elements in a positive and exciting way.
