We were tasked with creating an elegant and welcoming entertaining space in this large Edwardian Villa. Paying close attention to the classic proportions and wealth of original features, we used a sophisticated palette of antique mirror, bronze, sumptuous velvets, refined wool and hand printed linens.

The hallway was a cluttered, unloved space so we designed some understairs joinery to hide the daily clutter and redecorated throughout. We replaced the dated beige carpet with a soft grey textured carpet, edged in olive linen tape to complement the original tessellated floor, replaced the radiator with a traditional bronze cast iron one and created a focal point with a stunning oversized Tom Faulkner mirror in black powder coated metal. The front door was repainted in a strong and timeless dark blue.
