Hillview
Renovation of a 1930s detached house, which over time had been orientated wrong, giving poor views over the garden and towards the hills. The clients requested to alter the house and an existing annexe, to produce a 4-bedroom home with guest wing. The new design balances the building, including French doors that look out towards the landscape. A glazed corridor links the main house to the annexe, providing a sheltered walkway whilst maintaining the appearance of separate structures. The whole house is designed for a more accessible future lifestyle, by including level access and wide entrances.
