The Old Rectory
Renovation & extension of a former Victorian School House, in a Conservation Area, to create a functional family home.
This was achieved by expanding the accommodation into the roof space. A conservatory that overheated in summer and was cold in winter, was replaced with an insulated space that gave access to the first floor. The new first-floor mezzanine provided a seating area, with access to the garden on the ground floor.
