The design scheme for this long narrow living room needed to be practical for when the owner's children and grandchildren came to stay and to incorporate elements of nature. New seating for the family to watch television together was required and also somewhere to display the client's array of eclectic ornaments. Estervan designed and commissioned a bespoke built-in cupboard unit with shelving above. The redecoration work included re-plastering the Artex ceiling to smooth the surface, repainting the room in a combination of Farrow and Ball colours, wallpapering an alcove in Lewis & Wood Beech wallpaper, re-carpeting and procuring new seating and accessories.
