Triple Lanterned Orangery
This orangery extension in Surrey has been specially deigned to harmonise with the adjoining arts and crafts property. The design picks up subtleties in the fenestration from the original building to produce a classic design that will not date.
Incorporating more than one roof lantern in an orangery design requires careful thought and consideration by the designer. In this example, three roof lanterns are used to independently illuminate and identify spaces and their use; a place to sit, a central walkway and a dining area. A visually appealing and effective way to give zones to a large space.
