I would be interested to know where the lightshade in the younger boys room comes from ?

Concur with commenteers. Love the vibe of this place; the attention to detail; kids rooms designed for them not the 'rents; (sorry quoting Prince Fafa here) 'a real home for real people'. Not altogether to my taste but the transformation is impressive to say the least. My only misgiving is that in achieving this, the view from the rear has been compromised and I find all the add ons and boxes rather ugly especially the topmost addition. The poor Victorian house has been swamped.

Liz Wood - kidz have always enjoyed bunk beds and 'being on the top' with the bonus of floor space beneath for a 'sleep over' bed/sofa etc. Yes, not practical from the points you mention but guess there's always a mattress on the floor should the occupant break his leg... ahem... from climbing the ladder!
