Contemporary Master Bedroom from "Chic on a Shoestring" Designer Show House. This bedroom had a maximum budget of $3000 for all furnishings excluding the mattress and box springs and the cost of all labor. The show house raised money for interior design student scholarships.
The budget required a minimalist look and many of the items used were reclaimed from a used store fixture store, painted and re-purposed, including the "sculpture", a linen covered mannequin to which we applied plaster to give it an "old world" look.
