Ansteys Cove

Contemporary House Exterior, Devon

Two contemporary new build houses have been designed for an intergenerational family, harmoniously nestled within a limestone quarry cutting in the picturesque Ansteys Cove area of Torquay. This unique development comprises a modernist two-storey home and a three-storey townhouse, seamlessly interconnected to facilitate sustainable living for three generations of the same household. Prominent feature staircases within both properties serve as focal points in the open-plan ground floor reception spaces, creating a sense of arrival and acting as central circulation cores. Moreover, these staircases effectively frame views into the living, kitchen, and dining areas, allowing for an inviting and interconnected atmosphere.
