After of the hood- painted the surround of the hood metallic bronze and added medallions to create rhythm. A wooden quarter-sawn cherry surround was added to warm up the space. Window treatments on both sides covered the leaded glass windows and soften the spaces. New pendants were installed for better lighting. Walker Zanger glass brick backsplash was installed to tie in the existing granite that could not be removed.
