GO Designs Inc.Clean Minimal transitional that makes sense was our clients desire. We want something different that matches with our new homes architecture. We also dont want to spend our time maintaining it, lol. Some other concerns were drainage in the backyard due to the lot being cut into the side of a hill. Limestone walls accentuate the entrance, stained concrete give just enough contrast and glistens when night sets and the outdoor lighting shines the pathways to and around their home. Walking around back entertainment space allows for cooking, sitting in front of the fireplace, sun bathing and some space for their 4 legged family members. Just enough to create balance & flow.

This vast hillside in San Anselmo, Northern California, has evolved over the years and is the personal sanctuary of Landscape Designer Eileen Kelly, owner of Dig Your Garden Landscape Design. This sustainable garden also serves as her "living laboratory" where Eileen observes and learns from the habits and growth of her extensive selection of plants. They include hundreds of varieties of low-water plants ranging from California natives to others from South Africa and Australia, and a few exotics from Hawaii and other regions. Succulents have always been one of Eileen's favorites and they co-mingle beautifully throughout the landscape. Landworx of New YorkThese stone steps are part of a beautiful project including lush plantings of purple, yellows, and greens rest against a backdrop of timeless bluestone. With quite a long distance from the driveway's edge to the front door, along with a substantial grade change as well, the Landworx team designed and installed one of their trademark entrances. Meandering just enough to add interest but still maintaining perfect function, a series of bluestone steppers and landings lead visitors to the front door. Carefully placed pops of color in the form of pottery, lavender, and plump blue/green evergreens make for a peaceful walk.
A bluestone walkway leads around the side of house and opens up to a traditional bluestone patio in the backyard. Working perfectly with the home's ornate architecture, the large format bluestone in squares and rectangles was carefully selected for it's rust-colored highlights. Raised on the back side with a tight-fitted natural stone retaining wall, the patio provides an outdoor dining room of the backdoor sliders.
