Karl’s brief on this project was to design and construct a contemporary decking area that requires as little maintenance as possible. The entire garden is set on a slope so this new platform would need carving into the lawn. Karl put together a design and allowed for planting around the perimeter too to soften the space and bring in some colour. When presented with a selection of decking samples the clients easily decided that Trex Transcend Foggy Wharf would suit their garden best. Karl is a TrexPro installer which means Trex have warrantied this deck for 25 years. Using Trex also means this deck will need very little maintenance, perhaps an occasional hose down to clean it.

There was an existing raised pine deck that desperately needed replacing. A small lawn and a small patio with a pergola. The client didn’t like anything about the space and commissioned us for a complete redesign. They wanted their new garden to be filled with colourful plants, raised herb beds and a new deck terrace. Since completion in 2020 we have revisited this project to check up on the garden and this is what it looks like now.
