Gloucester Walk
Living Room, London
Gloucester Walk is a prestigious residential street in Kensington. Built on the former grounds of Campden House in the 1850’s, the houses on Gloucester Walk are in the centre of the Kensington Conservation Area.
IQ partnered with architects to create the rear extension and renovation to the terrace home in London. As part of the side infill extension double height glass doors were used to maximise space. The double height glass doors were part of a glass ‘up and over’ extension to fill the side return of the London terrace home.
By filling in the side return as part of the London extension, the architects were able to fully open the rear of the London terrace home. The double height glass doors meet with a glass roof to create a double height glass extension to the rear of the building.
