The clients from this busy working family, asked me to help to design a double storey extension to their existing Oxford property. I worked with the client, over several months, to pinpoint the perfect way they required their new large family kitchen to function on a day to day basis. The feature to this impressive light filled room is the 6-oven Aga and a beautifully fitted ‘Martin Moore’ designer kitchen.
The client created an impressive Master bedroom suite with a master ensuite marble bathroom with spectacular views across Oxford. The client wanted a luxurious feel to the suite – I introduced velvets with silks, sumptuous velvet carpet and contrast edging and piping to all of the soft furnishings and bed covers.
The main drawing room created a warm and inviting feel to the house – beautifully crafted rich embroidered fabric was the feature here – covering the bespokely commissioned circular covered pelmet to the bay window and picked up again on the rectangular rich velvet backed and piped cushions on the herringbone sofa
