Historical Kitchen Remodel

For this kitchen remodel, the original opening to the kitchen was framed in. You now enter the kitchen from the adjoining sitting room. A the beadboard ceiling is a beautiful detail. Glass subway tiles pair nicely with the Cambria countertops. The tile flooring was ran short ways to create a wider feel to the kitchen. The homeowner did not want can lights so she chose under cabinet lighting. The lit upper cabinets make the ceiling appear even taller. Open Door Productions, Matt Francis
