Customer wanted to change from their existing brown cabinets, to a lighter white. We went with Simply White Benjamin Moore color using General Finishes Enduro Poly in flat sheen. Enduro poly sheen is a bit higher than most paints otherwise satin would be recommended. We changed the door pulls to oversize pulls. We chose Simply white, as it will blend better than Chantilly Lace with the beige and brownish tile and countertops. A tinge of yellow makes a big difference in how everything flows. Without that, if we went with a whiter white, it would make the floors feel dirty even if they are not.

This home had a galley kitchen with walls between it, the living room and the large dining room with views of San Francisco bay. Our client wanted to open it up so they would have a gr4eat room with those great views! We removed both walls using recessed headers so the rooms would seamlessly become one. We repurposed the removed cabinets into the new island. The original spaces had 3 different floor treatments. In order to continue the seamless look new maple flooring was run throughout. New LED recessed lighting and 3 pendants completed the new look and feel of the space.

Out of date kitchen with a poor layout was remodeled and redesigned for an avid cook. The bent trapezoid shaped island provides both dining a cooking area with an induction cooktop. Opposite the island is a combination microwave and double wall oven with custom pullouts and storage. The Dining area off the kitchen is expanded and new windows are added to lighten the space. A separate coffee station opposite the dining area makes for less congestion in the cooking area.
