Nick and Jill thought they wouldn't be able to afford a custom-built home. But after meeting with Matt, they realized the possibilities. They brought a set of house plans to their interviews with three builders (including Statford).
First floor bedroom, so aging guests wouldn't have to navigate stairs

Lots of windows to supply plenty of natural light (the
Langridge's added several more windows during the construction process in order to take advantage of the views from their property)
A covered back porch (again to take advantage of their views) and a long area in the back yard to accommodate a dog run
