This contemporary master bedroom is clean and calming, suited perfectly to this client's taste. A spa-like color palette is soothing and peaceful, encouraging relaxation. Before the renovation, the wall to the right had no windows. Installing new windows not only offered double the natural light, but more importantly a view of the Long Island Sound.
Box pleated drapery panels and streamlined drapery hardware create a soft contemporary look. Dark wooden furniture is contrasted by light colored custom bedding and a textural white area rug.
Maybe we like the drapes and the walls being close to the same color. We do like, the tone on tone bedding.
