Melton transformed this home in the historical Chautauqua neighborhood of Boulder into a modern farmhouse that provides more livable space, inside and out, for this young Colorado family.
The kitchen remodel incorporates warm and charming design elements. The warm shade of the rustic alder cabinets gives life to the farmhouse style, while the touches of blue in the kitchen island and backsplash create bright, colorful detail to the project. No farmhouse would be complete without a sliding barn door, and no modern farmhouse would be complete without the modern touch of a frosted glass barn door and matte black hardware.
