Extension d’une villa typique du style balnéaire 1900, le projet apporte toutes les qualités d’espace et d’ouverture d’une architecture contemporaine. Le volume principal est traité comme un objet, entièrement habillé de bardeaux de zinc façonnés sur-mesure, dont le calepinage rappelle la pierre de la maison ancienne. La mise au point des nombreux détails de construction et leur réalisation ont nécessité un véritable travail d’orfèvrerie. Posée sur un soubassement sombre, l’extension est comme suspendue. De nombreuses ouvertures éclairent les volumes intérieurs, qui sont ainsi baignés de lumière tout au long de la journée et bénéficient de larges vues sur le jardin. La structure de l’extension est en ossature bois pour la partie supérieure et béton pour la partie inférieure. Son isolation écologique renforcée est recouverte d’une peau en zinc pré-patiné quartz pour les façades et anthracite pour la toiture. Tous les détails de façade, menuiserie, garde-corps, ainsi que la cheminée en acier et céramique ont été dessinés par l’agence -- Crédits : FELD Architecture

Who says green and sustainable design has to look like it? Designed to emulate the owner’s favorite country club, this fine estate home blends in with the natural surroundings of it’s hillside perch, and is so intoxicatingly beautiful, one hardly notices its numerous energy saving and green features. Durable, natural and handsome materials such as stained cedar trim, natural stone veneer, and integral color plaster are combined with strong horizontal roof lines that emphasize the expansive nature of the site and capture the “bigness” of the view. Large expanses of glass punctuated with a natural rhythm of exposed beams and stone columns that frame the spectacular views of the Santa Clara Valley and the Los Gatos Hills. A shady outdoor loggia and cozy outdoor fire pit create the perfect environment for relaxed Saturday afternoon barbecues and glitzy evening dinner parties alike. A glass “wall of wine” creates an elegant backdrop for the dining room table, the warm stained wood interior details make the home both comfortable and dramatic. Our San Francisco studio added a bright palette, striking artwork, and thoughtful decor throughout this gorgeous home to create a warm, welcoming haven. We added cozy, comfortable furnishings and plenty of seating in the living room for family get-togethers. The bedroom was designed to create a soft, soothing appeal with a neutral beige theme, natural textures, and beautiful artwork. In the bathroom, the freestanding bathtub creates an attractive focal point, making it a space for relaxation and rejuvenation. We also designed a lovely sauna – a luxurious addition to the home. In the large kitchen, we added stylish countertops, pendant lights, and stylish chairs, making it a great space to hang out. --- Project designed by ballonSTUDIO. Our Scottsdale interior design studio created this luxurious Santa Fe new build for a retired couple with sophisticated tastes. We centered the furnishings and fabrics around their contemporary Southwestern art collection, choosing complementary colors. The house includes a large patio with a fireplace, a beautiful great room with a home bar, a lively family room, and a bright home office with plenty of cabinets. Стена полностью выполнена из керамогранита, в нее интегрированы скрытые полотна с такой же отделкой (ведут в санузел и постирочную). Чтобы рисунок не прерывался и продолжался на полотнах, пришлось проявить весь свой профессионализм в расчетах и замерах. Двери керамогранит установлены до потолка (размер 800*2650) и открываются вовнутрь для экономии пространства. Сам керамогранит резался на детали непосредственно на объекте, поэтому габаритные листы материала пришлось заносить через окно.

Hallway wallpaper is making a big comeback as it’s another way to add lots of character, colour and style to a small space like a hall or landing. The landing at the top of your staircase is too often a neglected but can provide valuable, flexible, additional space.
