The dining room could easily feel very traditional with the marquetry dining table set that my clients inherited from their parents. To freshen things up, we upholstered the chair seats in a natural belgium linen and had the draperies made in the same fabric. The overscaled Cole and Sons damask wallpaper has a contemporary graphic feel in the cool gray and white.
